“Since humans have always sought to make sense of their lives, hopes, dreams, and fears through stories, Cave Pictures is committed to exploring questions that cannot be answered by reason alone through narrative,” said CPP President Mandi Hart.
The new line of comics mini-series features work from some of the industry’s brightest lights, crafting top-quality and spiritually meaningful stories.
The first title, the horror comedy APPALACHIAN APOCALYPSE, launches in January from writer Billy Tucci (Shi, Heroes for Hire) and artist Ethan Nicolle(Axe Cop).
THE LIGHT PRINCESS, a fairy tale by writer Meredith Finch (ROSE, Catwoman) with art by Renae De Liz & Ray Dillon (The Legend of Wonder Woman).
“We are living in an age of deep questioning, deep reflection on what it means to be human and how we are to coexist in a complex and ever-shrinking world,” added Hart. “Cave contributes to this conversation by cultivating stories that engage mind, heart, and spirit and provide fodder for personal meditation as well as conversation with others.”
More information on Cave Pictures and its launch slate can be found in the press kit linked here, and more details on each series will be announced in coming months.
