Aspen Comics has debuted their full guest list of creators appearing at Fan Expo Dallas 2018 on April 6th – 8th. The publisher is continuing their 15-Year Anniversary with an ambitious con tour schedule. Aspen creators Frank Mastromauro (Shrugged, Overtaken), Peter Steigerwald (Kick Ass, The ZooHunters), Mark Roslan (Portal Bound, BubbleGun), Gabe Carrasco (Portal Bound) and Wes Hartman (Soulfire, Portal Bound) will be appearing at the Aspen Comics Booth #417 all weekend long to meet with fans and sign autographs.

The publisher will be premiering their all-new series Portal Bound at the show with a special con-exclusive Portal Bound #1 Fan Expo Dallas 2018 exclusive cover by Mirka Andolfo with colors by Wes Hartman, limited to 200 copies. Co-creators Roslan and Carrasco, along with Hartman, will all be in attendance at the Aspen Comics Booth #417 all weekend long. Solicitation for Portal Bound #1 reads:

Their Future Depends on Each Other in Aspen's newest series! The warrior world of Havos is in peril! The megalomaniac Emperor Atilus, and his bio-mechanical beasts known as the Fymiera are hell bent on a plot that spells doom for their parallel world, Earth! Enter: Sybil, a soldier princess who has come to Earth seeking aid from the only person on the planet who can help her take down the Emperor: 17-year old high school student, Elias Rivera. Teamed up with the brilliant scientist, Riley, and the quick-witted Brett, in order to save both worlds, Elias and Sybil will have to fight as one... literally. Don't miss the premiere issue to Aspen's brand new action-adventure saga from writers Mark Roslan (BubbleGun, Broken Pieces) and newcomer Gabe Carrasco, with artist Alex Arizmendi (Edge of Venomverse: War Stories, Secret Empire: Brave New World) as they bring us a tale of two earths in need of two heroes!

Image Comics: We Believe In Character

Comic artists don’t just translate scripts: they build characters. From choreographing the most subtle facial tics and body language to designing entire wardrobes, illustrators are master actors of ink on page. Giving shape to entire casts, they carve new souls on a monthly basis. The creators on this panel specialize in character design, from Leila del Duca's medieval romanticism on SLEEPLESS to Jeremy Haun’s rugged post-apocalyptic fantasy chic in THE REALM, and Tula Lotay’s fashion-forward covers. Come see these shapers discuss their process, including Annie Wu and Jen Bartel as they preview their upcoming Image projects, DEAD GUY FAN CLUB and BLACKBIRD.

Image Comics: We Believe In Drama

Writers channel the crises we face everyday through layers of fiction, allowing readers to dissect universal struggles through a vibrant, askew lens. Though comics may catalyze new worlds overflowing with imagination, creators ground that surrealism in drama and catharsis. Join a panel of stellar scribes including Kyle Higgins (THE DEAD HAND), Gerry Duggan (ANALOG), Tee Franklin (BINGO LOVE), Tini Howard (HACK/SLASH: RESURRECTION) and some very special guests as they discuss the friction that gave way to their latest works.
