“I can’t wait to share CANOPUS with the world. It comes from a very personal space–from some demons I carry around with me. CANOPUS is ultimately an exploration of resentment, memory, identity, and the idea of forgiveness–of letting go. But it’s also a sci-fi story with cool monsters and fun characters! That’s the great thing about sci-fi–you can tell a personal, meaningful, poignant story through these big, imaginative, exciting ideas.”
From Scout Comics President James Haick:
“We’re really looking forward to publishing CANOPUS. It’s such a cool and interesting sci-fi concept that will keep readers engaged until the very last page. We’re proud to welcome Dave and CANOPUS to the exciting line of upcoming Scout titles.”
