In this five-issue historical fiction series, Archie and his pals are reimagined as "real" teens in 1955, dealing with actual historical events at the birth of rock 'n' roll as Archie sets out on a path to rock stardom. Writers Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn are joined on art by Tom Grummett, Bob Smith, Glenn Whitmore, and Jack Morelli.
The issue goes on sale September 18, and a full, extended preview will be available closer to release.
