Arcade Brewery releases six-pack comic by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton
CHICAGO -- Chicago craft brewery, Arcade Brewery, announced today it will release the 3rd volume of 6-Pack Stories™ on new comic day, Wednesday November 16th. Ten Pin Creep: A Revival Mystery is a spinoff of the hit rural noir Revival published by Image Comics and written by Tim Seeley (Revival, Hack/Slash, Nightwing) and illustrated by Mike Norton (Revival, Battlepug, The Defenders) across six bottles of Imperial Red Ale.
Arcade co-founder Lance Curran said the idea for our 3rd volume of 6 Pack Stories was to partner with a local Chicago creative team, “being huge fans of Revival since it debuted from Image Comics back in 2012, we thought it would be amazing to be part of an already established story as well as one that’s set in the midwest.” Co-founder Chris Tourre brewed the beer. "We always start 6-pack stories by examining the artwork and story provided to us and brew a beer to pair with the comic," Tourre said. "This year, we settled on an Imperial Red dry-hopped with Mosaic to represent the big character of the midwest and all of the twist and turns of the comic."
Revival writer Tim Seeley stated about the project, "The only thing Mike and I like more than comics is beer. Getting a chance to turn our comic REVIVAL into this wonderful libation with our friends at Arcade Brewery is a career long dream realized."
Illustrator Mike Norton said, “There’s not a single beer from Arcade that I haven’t enjoyed. Really excited to have them make something based on our comic.I can’t wait to see AND TASTE it!”
