A Ten-Page Gay Mini-Comic 2015
Written & Art Directed by Dale Lazarov
Linework & Colours by Janos Janecki
Think of this like your typical Robin Hood adventure where they rob from the rich in order to feed the poor. But this is more of an adult version of what Friar Tuck and Little John do after a heist. One of the things I think that Dale does really well is he’s able to craft a story that needs no words only the artwork to tell a story that’s emotional, romantic and very much a bit of smut all at the same time.
When you see Tuck and John interact with one another there’s this genuine affection between them and that’s thanks to Janos’ work. Sometimes the line can cross between straight out porn and erotic material and this while it depicts graphic imagery it’s more erotic than porn for me. There’s a tenderness and a feel to what’s happening where you have a real sense of emotion and not this is stage to depict sexual acts.
That’s the big thing with what Dale brings us it’s got this story to it that we see enacted through the characters. There’s a sensuality to this that is missing from most forms of all male entertainment. While this is only a ten page story it does showcase how these two men feel about each other and culminates in their unabashed enjoyment of one another.
A complete tale where we see the stage robbed, where Robin makes the woman blush and a young man eyes Tuck, to a meal afterwards and then to John going off on his own with Tuck following and a little tension before affirming their affections. It’s a love story and it’s very well told and Janos really does a superb job with these characters and the lovemaking. It’s really well portrayed with the background playing a nice role in showcasing all the characters and body proportions are all expertly done.
If you want some adult oriented material that depicts more than just the acts themselves find Dale’s offerings at www.dalelazarov.com and discover the more tender, sensual side of gay male smut.
